Specialty Equipment

WE HAVE EQUIPMENT YOU WON’T FIND AT ANY OTHER RESTORATION COMPANY IN THE AREA.

Rainbow Restoration's Restoration of the Low Country has invested in two specialized drying systems that allow us to successfully dry structures in a manner that other restoration companies in the area simply can’t duplicate.

  • This is especially beneficial to property managers, vacation rental companies, hotels, builders, etc. as we’re able to dry an entire large structure or multiple units at once. Take a look at some of the details on how these pieces of equipment work:

    MS2400 Arid-Dry Trailer-Mounted Desiccant Dehumidifier

  • This powerful piece of propane-fueled equipment produces very DRY air, which is circulated through the structure to gather moisture. The moisture-laden air passes over a rotating wheel housed in the trailer, whose surface is coated with silica gel that attracts moisture. The moisture is then burned off and exhausted out of the system, and the resulting dry air is directed back into the structure for another cycle. With each cycle, the air becomes drier, and the wet materials become drier.

  • This piece of equipment can be used simultaneously with other pieces of equipment to dry hardwood floors, wall cavities, and other materials.

TES (Thermal Energy System) Heat Drying Trailer System

Mounted Desiccant Dehumidifier.

The TES is a propane-fueled water damage restoration system that uses controlled HEAT AND AIR FLOW to produce high-speed evaporation, which dramatically improves drying. A heated glycol solution is pumped into drying units that exhaust hot air. A thermostat is used to control the temperature so no damage occurs to items such as wax toilet rings, etc.

This system is often used in crawl spaces to dry materials from underneath, which is helpful when a structure has ceramic tile or other flooring that can’t be dried from above. It can also be used in unoccupied properties.
