Mold Risks and Causes
Mold exposure can cause detrimental effects if not removed properly. Those with seasonal allergies, asthma, underlying health issues, infants, and the elderly are more likely to be affected by mold. Common mold signs:
- Difficulty breathing
- Irritated lungs, throat, nose, and eyes
- Cold and cough symptoms
Mold growth is usually the result of moisture from plumbing leaks, high humidity, HVAC system problems, roof leaks, window leaks, floods, and more. The age of your property can also contribute to mold growth, so it’s key to get it inspected if you suspect something.
