When my dishwasher failed and water spread across my oak wood kitchen floor, I was gone all day and came home to find the dilemma and sop up the water. A friend recommended Rainbow Restoration to restore my water-damaged floor. Within a half-hour of my contact, Patrick was at my door to assess the damage, which he did with a professional water detection instrument, measuring exactly where the water had soaked into the wood and between the wood planks, and where it remained dry. This evaluation enabled Steve to provide me an accurate estimate of the cost involved in mitigating the water from the soaked wood floor. Patrick brought vacuum mats to lay over the damaged portion of the floor, and dehydrating fans to dry unreachable surfaces. Each day Patrick came to check on the moisture in the wood floor, and after five days of continuous suction, the wood was dry and the water-soaked 'curl' at the edges of each plank had flattened. I highly recommend the water damage mitigation process offered by Rainbow Restoration. The personnel for this company are friendly, helpful, and caring about doing a good job.
