Our Team

Abby joined the Rainbow Restoration team in 2024 and is originally from Des Moines, though she now lives in New Virginia, IA. She is a fan of anime cartoons and is a flute player. She loves a good meal at the Olive Garden restaurant, as well as crocheting and spending time with her little sister. She enjoys reading books by Terri Blackstock and would love to take a trip to Hawaii – the one and only state her grandfather did not visit while trekking across the country. She shares her home with a large family of kitty cats.

Brandon has been a Restoration Technician for Rainbow Restoration of South Central Iowa since 2019. Brandon enjoys hunting, fishing, playing video games, and is a fan of the Kansas City Chiefs. His favorite meal is a traditional Thanksgiving dinner, and he can play the trumpet, bass, and baritone. One day Brandon would enjoy having dinner with Chris Pratt, and his favorite restaurant is Gojos in Kansas City.

Daniel joined the team at Rainbow Restoration in 2025 and grew up in Winterset. He currently resides in Winterset with his wife, 4 children, and 3 dogs. In the summertime, he enjoys playing in the pool with his kids and cruising in his ’63 Bel Air Wagon with car club friends. He recommends reading “The Reign of Wolf 21” by Rick McIntyre and would enjoy vacationing to any warm weather destination or to a ranch in Montana. Daniel is a big fan of Detroit Lions football as well as good pizza.

Heather has been the Marketing Specialist for Rainbow Restoration of South Central Iowa since 2020. She enjoys reading, gardening, and sitting on her patio with a glass of Sauvignon Blanc. One day Heather would like to meet Eric Clapton and loves to watch Kansas City Chiefs football. Her favorite restaurant is Cooper’s Hawk, and she’s always on the hunt for good fajitas or the tastiest Reuben sandwich. One day, Heather would like to make a return trip to Bad Segeberg, Germany and visit the community and school she attended in 1987-88 as a foreign exchange student.

Jesse joined Rainbow Restoration in 2024 and is originally from Indianola, IA. He likes a good steak dinner and smokes his own ribs, jerky, and sausage. He enjoyed watching Brett Favre play for the Packers, the Vikings, and the Jets and likes St. Louis Cardinals baseball. In the summertime, Jesse likes doing anything outside. He would enjoy a trip to Alaska or anywhere north for elk hunting and loves going to Colorado.

Kelly manages the Reconstruction Department for Rainbow Restoration and has almost 20 years’ experience of project management in residential and commercial properties. Originally from Waukee, IA, Kelly is a fan of Notre Dame and Iowa State sports. He enjoys golf and watching spy movies, particularly those in the “Jason Bourne” franchise. His favorite restaurant is Lindo Jalisco in Ankeny and recommends their Carne Asada. Kelly’s dream vacation is a return trip to the island of Bali.

Kerri joined the Rainbow Restoration team in 2025, moving to the Des Moines metro area from her hometown of Cedar Rapids. She enjoys walking, spending time with her four children, and trying out different restaurants. A favorite one she has found is Truman’s KC Pizza Tavern in Des Moines. Her favorite sports team is the Indiana Fever, and her favorite TV shows are “Everyone Loves Raymond” and “Friends”. Her favorite thing to do in the summertime is to just be out in the sunshine, and she recommends reading “Verity” by Colleen Hoover.

Krystal joined the Rainbow Restoration team in 2025 and is a true Madison County local, growing up in both Winterset and Truro. Her grandfather was the original owner of the famous Northside Café in Winterset. Krystal enjoys spending time with her two daughters doing outdoor activities such as swimming, kayaking, and biking. Her favorite sports team is any team her kids play on. She also cooks a mean lasagna, which she would gladly share with Reese Witherspoon someday, if given the opportunity. She recommends reading “Water for Elephants” by Sara Gruen and “Fairytale” by Steven King.

Kurt has been part of the Rainbow team since 2013, including a season of semi-retirement. He is originally from Kellerton, Iowa and enjoys traveling, family time, and rides on his Harley. He enjoys watching Rick Hendricks’ NASCAR team and a great meal at the Iron Horse Restaurant in Osceola. The best gift Kurt ever received was his daughter, Erin. He recommends reading “The One Minute Manager” by Ken Blanchard and Spencer Johnson, and one day wants to visit Scotland and Ireland.

Mary has been a Contents Technician for Rainbow Restoration of South Central Iowa since 2017. Her hometown is Independence, IA, and she enjoys spending time with her family – especially her precious grandchildren. She likes watching just about any program on HGTV as well as the show “Ghosts”. She would enjoy having dinner with Donny Osmond if given the opportunity and is a faithful Iowa Hawkeyes fan as well as Indiana Fever fan. A dream vacation for Mary would be a Hawaiian or Alaskan cruise.

Ricky joined the team as a Restoration Technician in 2024 and took on the job of overseeing the Textiles/Contents Cleaning Department in 2025. Originally from Winterset, Ricky enjoys Iowa Hawkeyes sports as well as 3D printing, fishing, building computers, and all kinds of automotive hobbies. He used to breed pomskis but now includes a couple of cats as part of his family. He would love to take a trip to either Tokyo or Rome, and his favorite meals are at Table 128 in Des Moines, eating whatever Chef Lynn Pritchard is preparing.

Steve joined the Rainbow Restoration team in 2024 and is a native of Osceola, IA. He enjoys working on house projects, cars, and his farm. He likes to watch history documentaries, car shows, and “This Old House”. Steve’s favorite restaurant is Texas Roadhouse and likes going to car shows in the summertime. He recommends reading novels by Steven King or Dean Koontz and would enjoy a trip to Ireland someday.

Tanner joined the Rainbow Restoration team as a Restoration Technician in 2024 and is from Lorimor, IA. He enjoys blacksmithing, camping, golf, video games, and automotive interests. His favorite restaurant is a Japanese Steakhouse in Perry, IA and suggests the crispy tempura shrimp roll with sweet mayo. He recommends Manga and Anime comic books and counts two cats and a dog as part of his family. Tanner’s dream vacation would be a trip to Japan.

Toni has been part of the team at Rainbow Restoration since 2021 and grew up in Winterset. While off the clock, she enjoys thrift shopping and spending time with her family, especially her four grandchildren and great-grandchild. Toni has a set of earrings for every holiday and special occasion. She enjoys watching the Iowa Hawkeyes and Kansas City Chiefs football. She would love to meet either Blake Shelton or George Strait someday, whose song “Amarillo By Morning” is Toni’s ringtone. She likes to eat all shrimp dishes at Red Lobster and would love to make a return trip to Hawaii or visit Alaska.

Trent is a Project Estimator for Rainbow Restoration and has been part of the team since 2014. Trent is a Certified Master Water Restorer by the Institute of Inspection Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC). Trent was awarded the 2020 “Technician of the Year” award by the Rainbow Restoration corporate team. When he’s not assisting clients, Trent likes to spend time with his son and play Pokemon. Trent enjoys pepperoni pizza and a good bonfire in the summertime. A dream vacation for Trent would be a trip to New Zealand to walk and see Mordor in Tongariro National Park.

Wendy is the Mitigation Manager for Rainbow Restoration of South Central Iowa and has been part of the team since 2020. Her hometown is Osceola, IA. She likes to watch football and drink beer while cheering on the Denver Broncos. She also enjoys camping and fishing, and manages bee colonies at her acreage, harvesting amazing, delicious honey and sharing it with the staff.
